The decision of the Republic of Croatia was made on 13 February 1997 establishing the Port Authority as the owner of the port area and infrastructure, while the company “Luka Ploče d.d.” became the main concessionaire for loading, unloading and transshipment of goods, warehousing, transport of goods and other activities in the port.
