The World Bank approved a loan of $ 75.3 million to Croatia for the Trade and Transport Integration Project, which would finance the development of the Port of Ploče. The loan was denominated in euros, with a fixed interest rate. The repayment term would be 15 years, starting after a five-year period.

The “transshipment” of coal started for the needs of Italian clients ˝Atel˝, which dramatically increased traffic in the Port of Ploče.
