At the meeting of the Supervisory Board of Luka Ploče d.d., held in Zagreb, for the first time in recent history, a three-member Company Management Board was elected. Captain Ivan Pavlović was appointed as Chairman of the Board, and the two members elected to the Management Board were Željka Dodig and Tomo Krilić.

A one-year procedure for the disposal of technological surplus was completed, during which 184 workers received severance packages, for which the Port of Ploče allocated more than HKN 30 million.

After nearly 40 years spent in Ploče´s port, the crane, Birina, one of the visual symbols of the port and the city, was sold to Montenegro.

Construction of the Terminal for bulk cargo worth 62 million euros, began. The construction site was visited by the Minister of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure, Siniša Hajdaš Dončić.
