The port of Ploče obtained the required quantities of “RT5 Superskin” from Reynolds Soil Technology solutions in Australia, as well as specialized fire-fighting tanks with unique technical characteristics (a built-in mixer for this type of liquid) which will perform the job of dispersing and suppressing the coal piles.

Ambassador to the United States of America (in the Republic of Croatia), Mr. Kenneth Merten, accompanied by Michael Rousek, visited the Port of Ploče.

A contract of construction was signed for a segment of the first phase of the development of the terminal for storage and transshipment of liquid cargo in the Port of Ploče, i.e. new containers for petroleum with a total capacity of 50.000 m3.
